Summary: 2 Stars
The grit on this cutting wheel wears off extremely quickly on engineered flooring. It cut very nicely for 1 foot or so, but bogged down after that. It still cuts, but not well enough for 1/2" of flooring (the tool just doesn't have enough power to keep cutting this thickness of board once the grit is gone). This might be practical to use if the blades were $10 for a five pack, but they are just too expensive for how quickly they wear out.
