Tools and Hardware Reviews of Dremel 750-02 Minimite 4.8-Volt Two-Speed Cordless Rotary Tool

Customer Review: Better than a clipper
Summary: 4 Stars

We tried using the clippers first but I cut the quick once and started crying... So we read all the reviews and picked the Dremel because of its great reviews. Our puppy HATES it! We try feeding her treats while grinding her nails but she still squeals, squirms, and cries :( At least we don't cut the quick anymore, and it makes the edges nice and smooth. Oh, and make sure you keep the pads of the other toes away so the dremel doesn't accidentally rub against them.

Customer Review: buyer beware of "extra battery pack"
Summary: 5 Stars

I found the dremmel tool to be great for trimming dog toe nails which is what we purchased it for. HOWEVER the battery they sold as an extra along with it DOES NOT FIT this tool the voltage is the same but the shape is not right round hole sqare peg sorta thing and by the time we found out it was too late and probably not worth the expense to try to fix it. SHAME on amazon for paring things as the replacement for something when its not. Now we are out 15 so not such a good deal. This tool would be good for small things but if you want a REAl tool good for many things GET THE STRONGER ONE! Would HIGHLY recomend this over Pedipaws

Customer Review: The Groomer Nail Solution...and problem
Summary: 5 Stars

As seen on Reno's Craigslist post:

My husband and I have been dealing with new groomers only to find disappointment in hair cut and nail trim. My dogs would be traumatized by the groomers when they would go near their nails. Or I would pay top dollar and find a less than stellar trim or nothing at all. I would walk out upset. I did some research and there's only one way to combat this. After finding out that groomers online would recommend a dremel tool, I looked for the one that would handle a 85 pound golden retriever and her nails which were thick.

Here's what I bought and I love it. You may want to order this online or look at home depot. Write down this exact model number and happy hunting.
It's worth it. Trust me. I bought one in Jan and we do not ask groomers to touch her nails period anymore.

From one dog love to the next...

Customer Review: dremel minimite
Summary: 4 Stars

Bought this to do 60lb dog's black nails. It's a slow procedure, but much better than clipping the nails. I've accomplished a lot more w/ this than ever before. Not afraid now of getting a bleeder. I did go a bit too close (due to my impatience for better results) to the quick & it resulted in a speck of blood, no actual bleeding. The dog slightly flinched & that was it. I recommend this for your dog's nails, but not all dogs may like the idea. My vet also highly recommended it. There are directions on-line (doberdawn?) as to the best procedure.

Customer Review: Dremel Review
Summary: 4 Stars

In lieu of clippers, I purchased this product to trim my dog's nails. Although I've only used it once, it seems to work pretty well. It does take a little longer than using clippers though. I think this Dremel is a very good value compared to some others.
