I love the chuck, it is much easier to change out drill bits and fits a range of sizes. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is that it will rust. I use my dremel to drill into glass, which means I need water. It works great but if I don't oil it every time, it will rust and be totally locked.
I wish it didn't rust because then it would be perfect.

I find that this is a great addition my dremel, especially for carving, i use it on my flex shaft so that i can change my bits out quickly. it doesn't work with some of the attachments though which makes me a little sad because i still have to keep up with my colletsCustomer Review: If you use a Dremel you have to have this.

I purchased this to replace the four collets on my Dremel Variable Speed Rotary Tool. No more fumbling with the collets every time I change bits with different size shanks. I would however suggest if you are removing or deburring heavy material to use the collets. This would avoid overtighting the chuck and possibly damaging it. I do clean the interior jaws with compressed air as fine dust can make it difficult to open and close.
